Frequently Asked Questions

Are you intrusive?

No, we know that when people are too aware of cameras they no longer act naturally and that is something we want to avoid. We take a discreet approach to filming your day allowing it to be natural and uninterrupted.

We use small HDSLR cameras for large parts of the day allowing us to to move about more freely without being noticed. We also dress in suits further helping us to blend in

Do you use lights?

We never use lights on our cameras as again this creates awareness of the cameras. We on occasion use small off camera lights positioned high up during the first dance.

Can we hear the Vows and speeches?

We use wireless microphones to get crystal clear audio during the service and speeches and where we are not permitted to use wireless devices we have audio recorders that can be used instead.

Do we pick the Music in our films?

We ask you to provide around 10 songs that you love, from this we will pick some songs but also use it to understand what music you like so if the story needs a different song we have a strong idea of what you like and can choose accordingly.

How long does it take to edit our film?

It really depends on the time of year that you are getting married, however we expect your film to be ready between 12 to 16 weeks. That seems a long time, but we put a great deal of time and care into each film. There is no fixed amount of time we spend on each film but a rough estimate would be 40 hours or more. As you can imagine in the summer months we often film two and sometimes three days a week, this naturally leads to a build up of work, which is why it can take this time.

We never rush a film to get it done, we take as much time as it needs to get right, this film has to last a life time and it's why we take the time to make sure it's perfect for you.

Can we meet up?

Certainly, we'd love to meet you. send us an e-mail and we can arrange a meeting to discuss your day.
